Active IQ Level 3 Certificate in Physical Activity, Exercise and Referral for People with Long-Term Conditions

The Active IQ Level 3 Certificate in Physical Activity, Exercise and Referral for People with Long-Term Conditions is now available on our website, Active Intel and Parnassus and can be delivered from 23 September 2026.

Designed to support learners working with individuals living with long-term health conditions, this qualification provides a progression route for those seeking to develop specialist knowledge and skills.

Supporting resources are being released in phases, with Unit 1 and Unit 2 content now available. Content for Unit 3 and Unit 4 is due to be released shortly on 30 September 2026.

Qualifications Wales designation confirmed

The following qualifications have now been designated by Qualifications Wales:

• Active IQ Level 2 Certificate in Fitness Coaching
  
• Active IQ Level 3 Diploma in Personal Training

This designation confirms that both qualifications are approved and available for delivery in Wales, supporting learners to progress into careers within the sport and physical activity sector.

Reminder: new qualifications support webinar

Join our webinar on Wednesday 14 October at 11am to support you with our new commercial and technical qualifications launched over the past few months, as well as qualifications being launched towards the end of the year.

You’ll also be able to submit questions in advance that will be answered during the webinar. Questions must be submitted by Friday 2 October to ensure they are addressed. The session will be recorded for those unable to attend.
