The Big Conversation on Care - £50 for taking part

The Casey Commission’s independent review of adult social care is a major opportunity to shape the future of care in England. With new Prime Minister Andy Burnham bringing the consultation date forward, Age UK has been asked to gather views from adults of all ages, including older people living with frailty or illness and disabled adults or adults with illnesses who receive support and their carers. National Voices is inviting people to take part. A £50 thank-you payment is available for taking part in a 90-minute group discussion. Click below to find out more and register your interest. Hospital discharge: have your say in Islington

Healthwatch Islington is currently asking local people about their experiences of hospital discharge. If you have recently been in hospital or supported someone leaving hospital, you can share your experience through the Healthwatch Islington survey. Your experiences can help highlight what is working and what needs to improve locally. This comes as a recent Age UK report highlights a nearly 70% rise in delayed discharges over five years.

Join Create, the creative arts charity, for a welcoming six-week drawings and textiles workshop.
