Reflections from 19 years of leadership

Dear friend,

It has been a real joy to be up in Scotland this week and I’ve found myself thanking the Lord afresh for Fred Drummond and the role he has done for the Evangelical Alliance for almost 20 years. He’s been such a gift to us, and leaves a real legacy for the rest of us to build upon. Fred was also instrumental in his role as head of prayer, and I’m sure he’d join me in encouraging us all to get involved in the National Week of Prayer in September. Could you host an event as part of this locally?

And finally, we’ll be taking a short break from this weekly email in August, and I hope and pray you get the opportunity for some rest ahead of the new academic year.
