Work is underway to prepare for the installation of fencing between Milton Road and Cambridge North Station. The new fencing will be a green coloured ‘weld mesh’ fencing, similar to that recently installed between Orchard Park and Milton Road, and installation begins on Monday 21 September 2026. It is planned that works will take approximately eight weeks to complete.
During the works, access will continue to Cambridge North Station for buses and they will not be diverted. The path alongside the Busway will remain open during this period for pedestrians, cyclists, horse riders and Voi e-scooter users. As the path will be narrower than usual with works in place, everyone is encouraged to take extra care when sharing the path.
