Summer Holiday Activities and Food Programme

HAF Programme logo

The Summer HAF Programme starts soon (24 July – 29 August). Eligible pupils can attend a registered holiday scheme for up to 64 hours, fully funded, and will be offered a daily meal and fun enriching experiences. A parent letter was emailed to all headteachers and school offices on 3.6.25. Eligibility criteria can be found here and click here to request a booking code.

PSHE Service Primary School Subscriptions

Your school will have now received an invitation to re-subscribe to the PSHE Wellbeing Subscription for the next academic year. If your school is part of a Trust or Federation arrangement, these are in the pipeline too (please ask if you need more details). Please ask headteachers to sign, and then return your forms asap – deadline Friday 11th July.

Graham Water Centre Open Day - open to CCC staff and staff in all Cambridgeshire schools

Grafham Water Centre is excited to invite your school staff, family and friends to the Open Day on Saturday 30 August 2025, 9.30am to 4pm


This is a fantastic opportunity to experience the Centre’s wide range of land and water-based activities, explore the beautiful surroundings, and connect with colleagues in a relaxed and fun environment.

 

What’s on offer?

  • Activities including kayaking, climbing, archery, high ropes, Pilates, CPR training, and more
  • Four activity sessions throughout the day (1hr 15mins each, with breaks)
  • Catering by Sailability (tea, cakes, ice cream – cash only, proceeds to charity)
  • Optional extras: Bell tent accommodation and a Family Ouse Paddle Adventure on Sunday 31 August

  • £25 per adult, £10 per child, free for under 8s

Cambridgeshire Religious Education Survey

The Standing Advisory Council for Religious Education (SACRE) would like to invite all schools across Cambridshire to take part in a survey regarding Religious Education across the county. This survey will also give important information on what is being taught and perceptions of the current Agreed Syllabus as they begin to look forward to the next Agreed Syllabus for Cambridgeshire. Early Years Lead Practitioners - volunteer role, recruitment opportunity

The Early Years Childcare and School Readiness Service is seeking practitioners working in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) who would like to apply for the role of Early Years Lead Practitioner. The role is open to Early Years leaders, teachers and teaching assistants who are currently working in an Ofsted rated Good or Outstanding school. We are looking for new recruits to be advocates of high quality EYFS practice and to share their knowledge and skills with others in the sector on a voluntary basis.

March Armed Forces Fair will take place on 31 August 2025 at West End Park, March


Attractions will include military displays and vehicles, farming equipment, classic vehicles, Land Rovers, food stalls and bars, March Brass 2000, Peterborough Highland Pipe Band, traction engines, LCpl Jones' butcher's van from TV's Dad's Army, a running Merlin engine, a Spitfire, stands and diving display.

Anti-Bullying Briefing: Preventing Homophobic, Biphobic and Transphobic (HBT) Bullying

23rd September for Primary/Special Schools, 25th September for Secondary/Special Schools. Online. 3.45pm-4.45pm. These courses and briefings are funded by Public Health and are free to all Cambridgeshire schools. Multiple people from each school may attend. Colleagues may sign up to attend ‘live’ or to receive the recordings

Audience: Primary, Special and Secondary leaders, PSHE leaders, classroom teachers, support staff or governors

 

Building the Mental Health and Relationships Programme in your school

7th October – 1.30pm-4.30pm. Sunley House, Papworth Everard. Cambridgeshire Schools (maintained & academy) can attend for free.

This course will outline the two key resources ‘Conflict Resolution and Peer Mediation’ and ‘Promoting Healthy Friendships’. These resources are avaible free to all Cambs primary schools.
