Babies need books!

For babies, books are just another toy made exciting and interactive by the adult they share them with. Your library has a wide range of board books designed to take your baby from learning to focus to discovering the world around them and beyond.

World Nursery Rhyme Week

Images show babies attending a rhymetime session with their parents, waving rattles

Babies love being sung to, but many parents don’t think they have a good enough voice. Whether or not that’s true, your child wants to hear your voice more than any other. And singing nursery/action rhymes plays an important role in early childhood development and education.

So, join in at your local library Rhymetime and we’ll all sing together!
