Dear colleagues
Earlier this year I told you how we'd reimagined our Leadership Essential Conferences - previously known as Autumn Leadership Conference and now, we're excited to update you on what that looks like in practice.
All of our specialists will be there in person, each sharing ‘Essential insights’ in their area, from curriculum and funding to SEND, accountability and disadvantage, so you leave knowing exactly what's shifting in the educational landscape and what to prepare for. Alongside this, you'll get practical signposting and support to lead your organisation with even greater confidence.
We know these updates are essential to those who attend and are a fixture in your annual calendar. But this year, we wanted to give you the chance to go deeper. That's why we've introduced Essentials in Depth; breakout sessions you choose based on your own area of responsibility. If you want to hear from Margaret Mulholland on turning SEND reforms into action? Or work through a PPG strategy with Tiffnie Harris? Or get to grips with funding implications for 26/27? The choice is yours.
Keep an eye on the website, where we'll be adding a synopsis of each breakout over the coming weeks to help you decide which ones are right for you.
It's your chance to ask questions, learn from colleagues, and really dig into what matters to you. Bring a colleague so between you, you can cover more ground and come away with the most up-to-date thinking.
So, whether you've been with us every year or have never joined us before, you're welcome, this event isn't just for members. Speaking on behalf of members and acting on behalf of children and young people is at the heart of everything we do, and events like this are where that comes to life. If you've not been before, this is a great year to start.
Best
wishes
